Kinder- und Sklavenarbeit? - bei uns nicht!

Ihr Natursteinimporteur toleriert unter keinen Umständen jeglichen Einsatz von Kindern und stellt bei allen Produktionen sicher, dass die einschlägigen nach internationalen Völkerrecht gültigen Regeln eingehalten werden. Wir engagieren uns aktiv gegen Kinderarbeit in jedem Glied der Produktionskette wie zum Beispiel in Steinbrüchen und Fabriken und garantieren unseren Kunden, dass unsere Lieferungen frei von den Händen armer Kinder ist.

Dialog ist wichtig!

Das Thema Kinder- und Sklavenarbeit darf nicht totgeschwiegen werden, sondern muss offen diskutiert werden. Wir unterstützen daher Projekte jeder Art, die darauf ausgelegt sind, die aktuelle Situation zu fördern und zu verbessern. Unter Förderung verstehen wir, dass Beiträge auch den betroffenen Kindern bzw. Personen zu Gute kommen.  Die Arbeit von Xertifix als gemeinnütziger Verein ist dabei besonders vorbildlich, da hier das Wohl der Schwachen im Vordergrund steht und nicht die Vermarktung. Leider haben wir bisher keine vergleichbaren Projekte in China oder Türkei gefunden.

Natursteinkauf ist Vertrauenssache!

Wir setzen beim Natursteineinkauf auf langjährige Geschäftsbeziehungen und Partnerschaften in den entsprechenden Ursprungsländern. Alle unsere Lieferanten kennen wir persönlich und wir arbeiten bereits seit mehreren Jahren erfolgreich zusammen. Grundvoraussetzung für die Zusammenarbeit ist der sogenannte Verhaltenskodex, dem sich alle unsere Lieferanten verpflichten. Unsere Qualitätsprüfer stellen die Durchsetzung der Bestimmungen sicher. Jede Zuwiderhandlung hat die sofortige Einstellung der Geschäftsbeziehung zur Folge.

Code of Conduct on Child Labor

Your Natursteinimporteur does not tolerate Child Labor. We do acknowledge the fact that Child Labor does exist in various countries and also respect different cultures and values. It is mandatory that our partners follow the Code of Conduct and any disrespect of this Code of Conduct immediately results in cancellation of any existing and further cooperation. Your Natursteinimporteur won´t negotiate on these terms as well as act immediately if any Child Labor issue getting known to us.

Our code of conduct refers to the Conventions of the International Labor Organization (ILO) as the following:

• C138 Minimum Age Convention, 1973
• C182 Worst Forms of Child Labour Convention, 1999

These conventions are ratified in the countries where we buy Natural Stones from and formed into National Law.

Art. 1
This Code of Conduct is signed by all business partners of your Natursteinimporteur.

Art. 2
Our business partners do not employ children who are still in school age as per their local definition but at least not under the age of 16.

Art. 3
Our partners maintain documentation for every worker verifying the worker´s date of birth. In countries where such official documents are not available appropriate assessment methods as per local practice and law are used.

Art. 4
The factories of your Natursteinimporteur agree to pay equal salaries to workers under the age of 18 and the ones above 18.

Art. 5
Young workers of legal working age but under the age of 18 have the right to be protected from any kind of work which is by its nature likely to endanger their health, safety or morals. Employment during school hours of the worker is not allowed as well as limits for working hours and overtime is arranged in consideration to the worker’s low age.

Art. 6
In further our partners ensure that this Code of Conduct will be followed by all their business partners which provide services or products for Ihr . Our supplier will take full responsibility for its business partners accordingly.

Art. 7
Your Natursteinimporteur will be provided the addresses of all places of production. We have the right to inspect production places without prior announcement and at anytime. Documentations as mentioned will be kept ready for check anytime as well.
